About the Firm

Cory Fogliani - Managing Principal

Fogliani Lawyers was founded on 1 December 2017 by Cory Fogliani (pictured). Since opening its doors, Fogliani Lawyers has focused on providing legal services to workers and trade unions in employment and industrial relations law.

Fogliani Lawyers is the trusted advisor to a select list of trade unions in Western Australia. This level of exclusivity uniquely places the firm to protect its clients’ interests against the widest variety of potential opponents. The relationships we have with some of our trade union clients span back more than a decade.

The firm and its lawyers are members of the Law Society of Western Australia. Several of our lawyers teach law at the University of Western Australia.

The firm has represented its clients in a large variety of courts and tribunals. This includes and is not limited to the Fair Work Commission, the Industrial Relations Commission of Western Australia, the State Administrative Tribunal, the Australian Human Rights Commission, the Industrial Magistrate’s Court of Western Australia, the Federal Circuit and Family Court (Division 2), the Federal Court of Australia, and the Industrial Appeals Court.

In the early years, it was not uncommon for Fogliani Lawyers to accept briefs directly from workers. However, as the firm has grown, so has the demand for its services from its trade union clientele. The firm no longer accepts briefs directly from workers. Workers are encouraged to speak to their trade union for a potential referral.
